INCREASED FIRE SAFETY
Every year in the United Kingdom statutory prohibition notices are served on restaurant sites for violation of the relevant regulation EC852. Of the 24,000 accidental fires per year in commercial properties, approximately 6,000 are attributed to cooking and extraction systems, nearly half of which are in the ducting. Nevertheless, more than 80% of kitchen extract ducts in the UK are never cleaned. *
The Reco-Air system significantly reduces fire risk for any building containing a commercial kitchen by replacing the traditional ducting and fan.
